Easy.
By researching the types of suburbs or areas you would like to live in.
To help you gauge suburbs and areas that will work best for you and where you want to live, think about where you’ve lived before and where you’re currently living and then think about what those areas have offered you.
What did you like and what you didn’t like?
Also, what type of property best suits you and your requirements?
An apartment or house?
What areas do you like the ‘feel’ or ‘vibe’ of most?
Also, get deep.
Have you changed a little or a lot as a person since you first moved into the place you’re currently living in?
If it works now, will it also work for the future and everything you have planned?
Think about the basics like life, career, family and lifestyle.
While the beauty of renting over being an owner occupier is the easier flexibility and freedom to move, providing the property you choose to rent is everything it originally presented, it’s best to see yourself settling in and staying for at least a few years.
Unless of course, you’re happy to move regularly.
