While photos and videos work together harmoniously, they play different roles. Photos show buyers your property. Video introduces buyers to your property.

Video also gives potential buyers the feeling of being there, like they’re walking through your property for the first time, even if they’ve never stepped foot in it.

It can also help the right buyer’s shortlist and narrow down your property over other homes for sale that just provide photos.

Think of looking at photos of Sydney Harbour Bridge as opposed to watching a video of you walking over Sydney Harbour Bridge from your point of view.

It makes you feel like you’re doing it again. It brings back memory and emotion.

If you loved it, you’ll want to do it again (the right buyer).

And if you didn’t, you wouldn’t want to do it again (the wrong buyer).

Another benefit is that, after they’ve watched the video and also physically walked through the property, it helps buyers reconnect with the property to help them evaluate their level of interest.

Do they or don’t they want to pursue it?
