Find a designated space or room where you can start relocating things.
Garages or sheds are a good spot
Next, remove any items that either don’t get used or are just filling space.
Anything unwanted should go
Once you’ve collected everything you no longer want or need accessible, either;
Put them in storage
Throw them out – Put them in the bin, take them to the tip or arrange a skip for bigger loads
Donate them – Most charitable organisations like St Vincent de Pauls (Vinnies) or the Salvation Army (The Salvos) can pick up items that are in good, useable, sell-able condition
Sell them yourself – Sites like eBay and Gumtree can help you make some extra cash. Alternatively, you could organise a garage / yard sale
Once the place has been decluttered, why not give the place a good clean and tidy?
Clear the cobwebs
Clean the windows and flyscreens
Give it a good wipe down, sweep, mop and vacuum
